Who can borrow?
Global Learning Centre members are able to borrow Library resources for free (postage and handling costs may be chargeable, if resources are being sent by post).
The Global Learning Centre Library is open before and after school hours and most Thursdays. However, it is recommended that you telephone prior to your visit, as staff work off-site most days.
For people who are unable to come to the Centre, requests to borrow resources may be made by contacting us.
The standard loan period is two weeks. Extensions are available when the item/s have not been reserved. Please contact staff for loan extensions.
The Collection
The GLC’s Library holds a specialised collection in global education/development issues. The material in the Library covers Africa, Asia, the Pacific, Central and Latin America, and the Middle East. Some subject categories include:
